This year's ornament only got a 4th place ribbon!

Cameo box made of plastic canvas, stitched with yarn, lined with felt and decorated with a cameo and faux pearls. It received a 1st place ribbon
Also: two 1st place ribbons in the Computer Science Division for web sites:
Lost Boys Chicago
and Sherman Robinson Photography

Rainbow doily, 3rd place, crocheted from sewing thread. It starts with 3 strands of pink for a few rounds, drops one strand of pink and picks up one of blue for a couple rounds, drops a 2nd pink and picks up a second blue for a couple rounds, then drops the last pink and picks up the last blue for a few rounds, countinuing through all the colors of the rainbow. This picture really doesn't show how nicely the colors blend into each other.

The first time I entered one of my "Crackerbox Ornaments" -- not only 1st place but a "Special Award" too (for uniqueness).

1st place for a mile-a-minute afghan I made for Dale's new bedroom (not really a mile per minute -- each panel takes about 4 hours).
